Floorsafe Australia’s RNAC stair nosing has been specifically designed to be installed over high pile carpets.

Material: 10 um anodised aluminium with a 3mm thickness, ensuring both durability and compliance.
Anti-Slip Design: The RNAC stair treads come with a 50mm PVC rubber insert designed for optimal anti-slip resistance, particularly in wet conditions.
Dimensions: 37mm x 75mm x 3620mm
Pre-Drilled Countersunk Holes: 8mm diameter countersunk holes, provided at 280mm centres
Customisable: Choose from 3620mm standard lengths or custom-cut sizes
Insert Colour: black, yellow, and grey.
Insert Options: luminous glow-in-the-dark, or serrated aluminium insert for an additional charge.

Compliance and Anti-Slip Safety
Industry Standards: Our aluminium stair nosing meets or exceeds the requirements of AS4586:2013
Slip Resistance: Achieved a slip resistance classification of P5
Luminance Contrast: The light reflectance value (LRV) of Floorsafe Australia’s rubber inserts have been tested in accordance with AS1428.1-2009 Appendix B

Floorsafe Recommendations
• Floorsafe Australia recommends, where possible, stair nosings should be glued and screw fixed onto the substrate.
• Any glues or adhesives should be tested prior to installation.
